SYMPTOMS
When you open a project by clicking a hyperlink, the Visual Basic Open Event does not run.

When a file is opened via a hyperlink, open events such as macros that are designed to run automatically, are not triggered. This problem occurs even though you receive a warning indicating that the file you are attempting to open contains macros.
