In Word for the Macintosh, click the Help icon, select Microsoft Word Help and choose the "Programming with Microsoft Word" topic.






This sample macro updates the table containing the insertion point with the characteristics of a predefined table format. If you apply a table format with TableAutoFormat and then insert rows or columns, the table may no longer match the predefined look. TableUpdateAutoFormat restores the format. The following macro inserts a table with the Colorful 3 AutoFormat, inserts another row at the top, then restores the original format with TableUpdateAutoFormat.
