Disk Administrator Error Dialog Box Doesn't Redraw Correctly
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows NT Server version 3.1
- Microsoft Windows NT Workstation version 3.1
- Microsoft Windows NT Advanced Server, version 3.1
In the Windows NT Disk Administrator utility, if you are attempting to save disk configuration information to a floppy disk and there is no floppy disk available, the following error dialog box appears:
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in drive a:. Abort Retry Ignore
If you move this dialog box either by using the Move command or by dragging the title bar with the mouse, the original dialog box is not erased; multiple dialog boxes are displayed.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.1 and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
