Helv/New Century Schlbk Bullet Prints as Yen Symbol
Article ID: Q101336
NOTE: Glyph is the term for the description of the character of a font.
When you print or display a particular glyph, Font Manager refers directly to the character that the glyph represents. Font Manager accesses an individual character by finding a character code (a hexadecimal number from $00 through $FF) in a lookup table. Font Manager then displays the glyph corresponding to that character code in the font of the currently selected font family.
The glyph for the bullet and the yen have been interchanged in the lookup table for the three TrueType fonts listed above.
