This MSNBC article is a quite well written explanation of what its like to witness an electrocution (The Chair).

I posted it because I think its interesting to hear peoples points of view on whether some wacko butcher that goes to the death house for an addrenalin rush every two or three years should be able to watch you die if you did something meritting lethal injection or the chair. My view is that death is most definately a private thing, and public execution is sick.

Until the neo-communist-republicans of my area actually got off their couch and went to vote, death penelty was not legal here...
