you won't need to overclock to 3.3 to play ep1 with the rest of the specs you have.

Main everyday machine is 3 years old already so it's low end to todays
standards..
Athlon XP2400+ @ 2gig - 266fsb
768mb ddram
ati 9250se 128mb
120gig master divided equally, dual booting 2000Pro & XP Pro.
80gig slave for downloads, both drives are in pull-out caddies
in which I have 3 other drives to plug in for beta testing..
LG Multi DVD / CD recorder
Sony slave cd-rom.
19" KDS Visuala sensations monitor, taking up way too much room.
---------------------------------------------
Next best system is a Microstar board running an
Athlon XP 1800+ @ 1533mhz , 512mb of ram
onboard graphics,
DVD / CD burner + cd-rom
17" Hyundai monitor.
This system is my main testing/hacking/cracking whatever system.
Has a 20gig samsung H/D that has been formatted more times
than iv'e had hot dinners this year..
-----------------------------------------------------------
Next best is the server i'm currently building up from parts..
I-Will BS-100 board that has 5 scsi hard drives
4 x 9.130gig
1x 18gig
2x 50pin scsi cd-roms
1x 40 pin Burner
ati9200 128mb graphics
1gig of ram.
Need to spend some time on ebay buying a 1 gig or more slot 1
cpu for this one..
The tower sits 25" high
also has option to run sata..
I have yet to work out the jumper settings for all these 68 pin drives
& the 50 pin ones..
This has been a slow project since the beginning of this year..
I know absofockinlutely nothing about setting up a server but it'll happen
when I find / make the time...

Not sure what OS to run as yet, thinking of perhaps playing with a linux
distro of some sort , dunno, i'll ask advice when the time comes...
---------------------------------------------------------------
I have 3 games machines, all Acer veriton 5100's running P3-933's
with 384mb ram, 1 has a g-force2 mx 400 , 64mb, the other 2 run
ati 9200's 128 mb ram.
1 is mine the other 2 are in my kids rooms, all 3 have the latest MAME
rom collection on them { 6140 games all up }
My sons one has all tony hawke games ever made plus others I can't
keep a track of , they can't walk past EB games without buying something
on special..
--------------------------------------------------------------
The next system is a pc-chips 810LMR running a 1 gig duron, 200fsb,
768mb ram, 64mb onboard graphics, lite on burner + dvd combo drive..
Running a bios that overclocks the mobo frequency slightly, to 105mhz
so it shows as 1050mhz in system properties, the bios actually allows a
much bigger overclock but ahh, who cares, a nugget anyhow..
--------------------------------------------------------------
& a couple of dozen other P3, 2 & 1 systems that are either for testing
betas on, or recovering data from other systems that friends bring over
that have crapped out.
In fact the back wall of the workshop { 20 metres accross } is just systems.
One is even dedicated to flashing bios's or tweaking them & burning back
to the chips via a burner...

Yeah long post I know, got a bit carried away there sorry..

12" iBook G4
---------
1.33 GHz
1 GB RAM
60 GB HDD
32 MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9550

PC-home made
----
3.0 GHz P4 (Prescott)
1 GB RAM
128 MB ATI Radeon 9600SE
~480 GB of hard drive space from 4 or 5 (I forgot and it's not near me ) hard drives.

PC #2-Dell Dimension
-----
2.4 GHz P4
512 MB RAM
64 MB Nvidia geForce mx440 (I think)
80 GB HDD

iMac G3
-----
233 MHz G3 PPC
256 MB RAM
6 MB VRAM
4 GB HDD

Toshiba Satellite PC laptop
------
1.06 GHz Celeron

Nothing impressive, but the only really crappy computer I have is the iMac G3. Even the old Toshiba laptop is pretty speedy for its age.
The above post is brought to you by me not listening in class and posting here instead. :D

Intel Celeron 2.2Ghz Processor
S3 Prosavage DDR Onboard video (currently set to share 8MB ram)
80GB Harddrive
512MB 184-Pin DDR SD Ram
Dell 13 inch CRT monitor
Compaq keyboard that came with Presario 6473SA
Logitech mini optical mouse
Windows Vista RC2/Windows XP Pro
Onboard sound
UBL Pro speakers (came with old compaq)

Used to have 256MB Ram. Upgraded so I could run Windows Vista. Still plan on upgrading RAM again by adding another 512 stick, or a 1GB stick, so I can run Vista better; and adding a better (and non-onboard) Videocard, hopefully with TV-Tuner, so I can use Aero Glass.
