Windows Vista 5219 STUCK on Completing installation

I have a BIG BIG BIG problem
I installed Windows Vista Build 5219 in VMware. is stuck on the “Completing installation.....” screen.
And won’t get into the desktop. EVER. Waited about one hour and it didn’t work.
Can anybody please help meeee???

In my experience it can take longer than an hour to complete this part of the installation process; it depends on factors such as hardware resources you have allocated to the virtual machine.

When it is at the "Completing installation....." screen does the hard disk activity indicator for the virtual machine blink?

Please set the BIOS date back to between 31/08/2005 to 12/09/2005.

And use VMWare 5.x compability and IDE hard drive.

I had the Bios date between the dates you said, and IDE drive, but not changed compatibility version to 5.

I had the Bios date between the dates you said, and IDE drive, but not changed compatibility version to 5.

VMware 5.x compability is best for Vista builds prior to 5270, so I suggest you use that setting.

It's NOT stuck. Wait about 2-4 hours to complete the installation.
