What does this disc contain? My internet connection is so bad I can't watch the video.
Also, this may or may not help you: http://tcrf.net/GameCube_Service_Disc_v1.0/03
Re: Nintendo Gamecube Service Disc 07
I don't know what it is, but I'd like a dump of it, so we can dig into the file system.

Re: Nintendo Gamecube Service Disc 07
Your disc is definitely different, but both the discs are used for the same thing: testing Gamecubes.

Re: Nintendo Gamecube Service Disc 07
You'd better dump and scan it. Even the version I mentioned is very rare. I think that this is an earlier version of the Service Disc, seeing as the most well known one has version (1.0/03) and yours has version (07, possibly 0.7).

If you've read the comments on the video provided, and the posts earlier in this thread, you can see that his PC won't read GameCube discs. Anyway, I hope this gets dumped very soonCourage wrote:You'd better dump and scan it. Even the version I mentioned is very rare. I wonder if it has betas of Super Mario Sunshine (if it's dated 2001-early 2002)
Re: Nintendo Gamecube Service Disc 07
You can dump it with a Wii with the Homebrew Channel, using a tool called CleanRip.Robert_Kendo wrote:@ verne: i cant dump it,my pc cant read those discs...

Re: Nintendo Gamecube Service Disc 07
your best option then is to send it to someone with a Wii capable of dumping ISOs and have them dump it.Robert_Kendo wrote:@The collector:there is nothing playable on it..its a disc to test gamecube functions

There is noone i know with this kind of wii
Re: Nintendo Gamecube Service Disc 07
The PC doesn't need to read and play the disc, it just needs to rilevate it in its Dvd reader And then use a program like Imgburn to make an ISO Image. I apologize if I misunderstood your post.Robert_Kendo wrote:@ verne: i cant dump it,my pc cant read those discs...

Re: Nintendo Gamecube Service Disc 07
I will dump it and send the disc back. But you probably don't trust me.
There are three public dumping methods:
PC
This method requires a PC and a DVD drive that can read GameCube discs. These drives are extremely rare.
GameCube
This method requires Phantasy Star Online and a GameCube Broadband Adapter.
Wii
This method is the most common. It requires a Wii that can play GameCube games (some newer ones can't) and an SD card. It uses a piece of homebrew software called CleanRip that dumps the game to the SD card or USB stick in the Wii.

You could always buy a USB CD drive online that supports mini-disksRobert_Kendo wrote:I know..maybe one day i am able to dump it by my own
