Fireware needs suggestions on a new hard drive

I need something over 300gb, and under USD $100. Any suggestions will be considered.

Seagate have been pretty good to me ... and you can get a 320gb Seagate SATA for $74.99US from Newegg.

go with seagate
I got a 300GB PATA with.. good everything really... doesn't run hot, fast, and REALLY cheap... IDE/SATA compatible..
costs generally ~$70

Seems average price is about $0.20 per GB. Check the hot deals section at forums.anandtech.com and you should get all the best deals
