Windows Media Player 12 issues

Post by linuxlove »

Image

Every time I load a video in WMP 12, this always happens. A squished image and the video doesn't play. Audio plays just fine. Doesn't matter what format the video is in.
Anyone have any clues? It can't be a codec error as this never happened with WMP 12 on my old Dell.
Goodbye.

Have you tried deleting and re-constructing your WMP databases yet?

There was someone who had that problem. The only way I found to fix it where they could do it them selves was to download VLC Media Player. However, you may be able to fix it by uninstalling it via the Windows Features and adding after it's removed via the Windows Features in the Programs item of Control Panel.

Good to know it worked, I was just guessing that would work by replacing any corrupt files.
