I believe Windows 7 starter has a limitation that doesn't allow dual monitors. Since Windows 7 Starter is usually included on netbooks you would have to check to make sure its hardware is capable of doing dual monitors. If it is, Im not sure how besides installing a full version of Windows 7 or another OS. Unfortunately the Starter versions of Windows have way too many stupid limitations, basically to keep the cost of netbooks down.

yes it's not hard to torrent Windows 7 Ultimate and use <censored out, pm me if you want to know details>. I've seen you complain about how limited Windows 7 Starter is. Why not use Ultimate or Home Premium?

If I can do it, so can you :P

Who cares about legit stuff when it can appear legit? :P Yes I admit I have a legit Windows 7 Ultimate, but my Server 2008 R2 is not legit. Most of my OSes aren't legit because they usually aren't worth it at first look or I don't have the money.

Why in the world would you pirate Windows 7? Microsoft practically gives the thing away to anyone who spends more than ten minutes looking.

I'm not talking about evaluation packages - although those are handy as well, since half a year is plenty long for people to use an OS before they need to reinstall anyways.

So where is this place then? I wouldn't mind a few freebies for 10 minutes of looking :p

Since Windows 7 Starter is only available as OEM, one easy way to upgrade is to find the OEM serial numbers for your manufacturer (they're really easy to google), then use that as a step-up upgrade key. It's not legal, but it will work.

You have to use a key that belongs to that certain edition though. I.e. a 7 Starter key won't let you do an Anytime Upgrade to Ultimate.

Windows 7 Starter duel? How can Windows 7 duel? It's just an OS, not a warrior.
Goodbye.

Its not worth it to pirate Windows. It may be checked genuine today, but sometime in the future it will be red flagged as non genuine and you'll be locked out of updates. Unless you are using OEM keys but then your system would have came with a Windows license anyways.

I was kind of wondering the same, and now, after looking through the website... another reason why Starter edition stinks :P (for heavy computer users)
