Internet Explorer 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0

The reason I needed version 1.3A or higher of Win32s is because versions 1.5 and 1.6 of Internet Explorer for Windows 3.1 required it. These versions are labelled as beta - I guess they must have been part of the transition phase from IE 1.0 (32 bit Win 95 app) to a 16 bit version for Windows 3.1.

There was also a version 1.5 for Windows NT (this was prior to NT4's release), but I'm not sure if it is exactly the same as the Win 3.1 version. Apparently the 32 bit versions of IE 1 and 2 don't run on Windows NT prior to version 4.

If you want to try these versions, Google for MSIE15.EXE and MSIE16.EXE. The Windows NT version 1.5 has the filename msie15i386.exe.

Beta versions of IE2 for Windows 95 can also be found by searching for msie20b1 and msie20b2.

Apart from this, I can't seem to find much information about these versions, so I'd be interested to hear if anyone has any information or stories.

Look for IIS 1.0 (Internet Information Server 1.0 for Windows NT Server 3.51),
in there are IE 1.5 for Win3.x and NT (also 2.0 for Win95) as Clients,
also a Version of Win32s, who should fit

They came in Windows Plus! packs, until MS started offering it as a free download and got sued.

Just search in Google for "msie16.exe" (including the quotes). There are a couple of links there.

Thanks for that. For anyone that's interested, here's the User Agent string for IE 1.6:

Mozilla/1.22 (compatible; MSIE 1.6.0010b; Windows NT)

And a screenshot on Windows 2000.

I found it on Web. I also have Internet Explorer 1.5. Can I upload to BA FTP?
Edit: Maybe also work for Neptune 5111.
