This was sent to a user on aom.heavengames.com by Tony Goodman, the co-founder of Ensemble Studios. There is no original CD image of this, and additionally it was on the same disc as an alpha of Age of Empires II, which is already on betaarchive. Thread in question: https://aom.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/forums/display.cgi?action=ct&f=1,29751,,10 It doesn't include AoE1 content, and is meant to be extracted over an existing final AoE1 installation.
