Did it occur to you at any time, that the bug reporting version was 5112Namronia wrote:oh, 5117/5118 cant be neptune or odyssey, first, in the bug report is "NT 5.00" and neptune was 5.50, then, in neptune 5111 the bug report shows build 5112
in neptune, and 5118 in whistler.
Just because the bug reporting build is 5118, doesn't necessarily mean
there's a build of neptune thats 5118.
There's welcome exe's in millennium that still say windows 98 for this
reason, the neptune bug report thats 5118 in whistler most likely says
neptune because MS was too lazy to take the neptune name out, just
like the bitmaps and strings in neptune still say windows 2000.
And why post all these build strings from files, it doesn't necessarily
mean there's a build made with that string, just that the file itself was
further worked on, and the build string of the file was moved up one to
reflect it's current string, there's files in neptune whose build string is
5112 because of this.

(sorry if this sounds rude, it wasnt meant so)
edit..
so creekside was the codename for xp starter,Creekside is the little known codename for XP Starter Edition, the product that Microsoft sells overseas to developing countries. So, have you guessed yet what these have in common?

WinPC
I recently confirmed the existence of Chicago Build 429 when I found a file with the version number "4.00.429" on an old AOpen PC with Windows 95 Build 950 (Retail). This means that Chicago Build 429 actually exists. There are also lot's of Warez FTP lists which are still running to this day where many Memphis Builds can be confirmed.
OK, first, sorry for the huge delay but I've got things piled up recently...A bunch of projects are after me:^)
I've made updates till 2007/12/15 for today's list...though it MAY have many bugs and mistakes. Just feel free to point them out if you discover any and I'll fix them in the next release.
Update will continue after my exam's over.
I'm not sure I understand you, but if you feel the need it would be better if you could add my MSN as contacts or Email/PM me for the details if you don't have MSN.

I can integrated it into my book but before i do it, can the maker of this OS Checklist contact me? (because their is no update after 2 months)
Then we can work out if i can integrated into my book or in reverse.

edit: ive also found some nashville 997 build files
and edit again: ive heard that someone (obrasilo and me know him) has nt 3.0 and it has build 102 i think and it was also very unstable
but anyways, well done (since im the most mentioned person there )__ Windows NT 3.1 Beta 2 199?/??/?? 453.2 Note by tpemail: Namronia found this build string in file crtdll.dll from Chicago 58s.
