For installation, XPKU now uses WIMs, specifically Panther Engine 6.0.4053 (Beta1).

Credits:
WindowsX.......for some INF files.
Thuun.............for PantherXP project.
WinBETA.........for TweakNT

BTW, there might be some Server 2K3 leftovers. Please Report them.

Making a torrent right now...

Do note that an XP VLK key is needed.

I I have a VLK and its genuine . But I doubt most people have it... make a non-VLK version?

or you can just change setupp.ini in the Extradata, change the last numbers from

270 - VLK

-to-

000 - Retail\Other
OEM - OEM

Oh yea - when you finish the torrent, put a link, or PM. Thanks

I'll see about also upping the licensed processor limit to 65536.

Installed it. Impressive performance.
May our software be open-source, and our women closed-source.

No point. Server 08 shares it's Kernel with Vista already (and Server 08 R2 with Windows 7).

I think you mean "applications", angelwolf.

In that case it supports all Win32 Apps. Anything that works on XP will work here.

Sad news to report.
When I booted the actual CD I burned on my 2005-era desktop, the keyboard was on, but no keys functioned, mouse wasn't even powered (Both are USB 2.0).
I tried booting it in VirtualBox, it allowed me to enter my VLK, loaded its files, rebooted, then...
Black screen.
It read the hard drive for a brief second, then blackness.

Yes, I did verify the MD5 sum, etc.

EDIT:
I ejected the (virtual) CD, and got this:
Image
EDIT2:
Uploaded the VirtualBox log to my server for all interested:

If you have the time for test Windows Trust 4, look this awesom work !

Based on Windows Server 2003 with XP mode, kernel fusion... u can choice the kernel on the setting panel of Windows Trust !

Its the best unattended OS i have test and agree,

I like the WindowsTrust Update, u dont need going on Windows Update, u install update from the Trust Update Server with a simple click of mouse.

(update of Windows OS and all software on the unattended)
