This will probably have to be a new install, right? I wouldn't be able to just patch this to my current installed copy of XP, or even upgrade it to this version, right?

I think you will be able to upgrade in the same way you upgrade XP to Server 2k3 (but i'm not sure).

I'm guessing the 1st post stating it's a trial, is to allow this to be public.
MS never made a trial VLK.

If you want to host it on a BA-accessible Server, feel free to upload it to my M1 server.

I can betatest this; I have a box to test stuff on (not a virtual pc) so .. yeah. And if beta 1 works, i might just crack the timebomb&activation (TweakNT & AntiWPA) and use it for a lot longer on my test box ..

So which keyset does this use, as you mentioned that it accepted VL keys, but you included WPA, which VL copies do not use.

Heh, yeah he lost me too, I questioned the vl key part but seemed to
touch on a raw nerve, and asked no further.

Nothing further to add with this project? Pity. It had such great potential, and was one of the first projects to interest me since XPL.

It in MSGINA.dll or NTOSKRNL.EXE.

Replace it there.

It's not dead. I'm trying to find out how to deploy it.

Alpha 1 Refresh Released!

For installation, XPKU now uses WIMs, specifically Panther Engine 6.0.4053 (Beta1).

Credits:
WindowsX.......for some INF files.
Thuun.............for PantherXP project.
WinBETA.........for TweakNT

BTW, there might be some Server 2K3 leftovers. Please Report them.
