Does Chrome 1.0 support Windows XP RTM and SP1?

Does Chrome 1.0 support Windows XP RTM and SP1? I wanted to ask this to see if they worked on an OS from 2001 and 2002. I know Chrome never supported Windows 2000, I wanted to see if they worked on XP RTM or SP1. Firefox did until version 12, after that, later versions required XP SP2 until 52.9.0esr which exclusively made support require Windows 7 and later.

If the Web Archive is to be believed, then no, the very first version required Windows XP SP2 or Vista.

chrome 2.0 startable in XP RTM, but it crashes soon.

Now, I get why that early version of Chrome suck as well as RTM and Service Pack 1 of XP...
