unless someone tested it on all gpu's and can confirm, you won't get correct answer...
there were more gpu chips companies back then than now
and some from 9x era still got support for XP driver era
to name few...
S3, Matrox, 3Dfx

Unfortunately, the Longhorn Pre Reset Builds cannot run Aero if you do not have an LDDM Graphic Card. There are only 2 cards with LDDM: AMD Radeon HD9000 and nVidia 5200FX.
But other cards will not run correctly with DCE, or will not Even Work, Until Build 4074…

wrong, stop lying

"LDDM" wasn't even working until Beta 1

you needed GPU capable of DX Shader 2, and that is all, any DX 9 GPU would do
and they all used XP drivers, DCE/DWM works just fine on any GPU that satisifes above

No way. I had Build 4029 on my friend old laptop, and in Device Manager, At the Graphic Card, it says (LDDM).
And yes, i dont lie. I just want to help people.
Sorry.

Unfortunately, the Longhorn Pre Reset Builds cannot run Aero if you do not have an LDDM Graphic Card.
You can run Aero in pre reset builds such as 4015,4042, and 4074 without LDDM Drivers (VMware drivers isn’t LDDM)
