Hello everyone.
I'm installing Longhorn 4074 (TWIWMTB) and noticed that the clock icon on the bottom left corner of the screen has a different appearance than the stock 4074 build. Is there any way I can change it back to the white clock?
Thanks.

Look inside imageres.dll with like resource hacker.

The blue clock background is present in the original, but so far there is no known way to load it without reshacking. TWIWMTB just replaces the white background with the blue one inside imageres.dll
4081/82 might have a way of loading the blue clock via Registry that 4074 doesn't have - just based on how 4081/2 has working Ctrl-Shift-F9 while 4074 has it disabled in the code; haven't actually cheecked if this is indeed the case also for the blue clock.

If you look at the code in WCPClient you'll notice resource IDs're hard coded. You either hack WCPClient or you replace PNGs.

Thanks for the responses everybody. I wasn't aware that the blue clock was present in stock 4074. The unmodified copy appears to be very unstable anyway. Aero doesn't work correctly and activating it in a VM makes the taskbar completely disappear.
