Anyone has VMware Tools for Workstation 9.0.4? I used to download it from TCB but since the website is rewritten and the download section has disappeared.

I have an ISO that has tools for 6, 7, 11 and 14. Would that work?

Do you know what the old URL was in TCB?
Or at least the filename?

Also, 9.0.4 is still available for download from VMWare (you need to create a free account):
https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/down ... ST-904-WIN
Any reasons not to get it directly from them?

He might not want to bother with installing 9.0.4 to get the tools files

I do know the link, however all downloads are taken down.

And I have Workstation 16 already. I tried to install Workstation 9.0.4 but it gets stuck at "Installing packages on system" and shows no sign of moving (and the VMware Tools CD is neither installed nor is it available on the VMware website).

The reason I asked for the link or filename is to make it easier for other people to try and help you find it.
If you have the 9.0.4 installer and are willing to spend some time, it may work to use Uniextract to extract its contents and grab the VMWare Tools from it.
If I have enough time during the weekend, I might give it a try and upload the results, but can't promise anything.
