but where do you read that Windows 95 is the OSR1 version?
Re: [REQUEST] Windows 95 OSR1 and Microsoft Plus!
The copyright date says 1996. OSR1 was released on 1995-12-31. It was also the only OSR that could be purchased without a new computer.backtofuture wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 4:41 pmbut where do you read that Windows 95 is the OSR1 version?

^this
OSR literally means OEM Service Release, so I highly doubt it was sold separately as a retail/FPP product.

Re: [REQUEST] Windows 95 OSR1 and Microsoft Plus!
in general
- a win 95 retail FPP (Retail Full Packed Package) never exist !!!
- OEM Versions never sold separately (without a PC) !!!
what exist are
- Microsoft intern -> Type 1 (doesent require a key)
- Retail Update (sold seperatly without a PC; but this was a Upgrade / Update Version and not a FPP) -> Type 2 (CD), or 3 (Floppy)
- Retail Floppy Full (technical the same as Type 3, but dont check for a existing system, the key is hardcoded on floppy) -> Type 4 (Floppy)
and
- OEM Versions (only sold with a new PC) -> Type 7 (OPK Floppy), 8 (OEM full Floppy), or 9 (OEM CD)
you ar right it is Windows 95 OSR1 !!grommit2007 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 4:07 amDoes anyone have this version of Windows 95 OSR1 with Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95 on the same CD (0296 Disc Assy. 000-31152)?

How do I upload ?
Read thoroughly - the boss has made a lot of effort
If he is satisfied, you can also get FTP access (now https database download access)
If you get reading errors when copying the CD (e.g. scratches on the CD) please send me a private message with the *.md * and the .log files.
Most of the time I manage to repair the ISO file
