Error installing Windows 7 build 6469

Hello, I got the ISO of build 6469, for some reason it crashes with the 0x0000007E BSOD when I boot off the ISO. I tried an upgrade and clean install from within Vista and it would reboot and BSOD with 0x7E. The BIOS date is 3 October 2007 as it should be...

Can you provide more info? Are you using a virtualizer or are you attempting to install the build on real hardware? If you are using a virtualizer, which one and what settings are you using? If this is on real hardware, what are the specs?

More info:
I am using VMware 15.5.1 with the regular compatibility.
4 GB RAM allocated (this is the x86 build)
2 CPU cores given
40 GB virtual SCSI HDD (CD/DVD drive is SATA)
Any more info needed?

Try an older version of VMware Workstation e.g. ver. 8.0.2 build-591240. BSOD 7E is probably related to the graphics card. I had this error on real hardware but it was OK in VMware 8: BSOD 7E

So I tried to install using VMware 10, it got stuck at Installing Features. I'll try 15.5.1 this time but with 8.x compatibility. So far no 0x7E.

Update: build 6469 works fine with VMware 15.5.1 and 8.x compatibility! Thanks for advice anyways!

It doesn't freeze on it. It just takes a few minutes.
