Install Longhorn 4074 from USB, is it possible?
I've got an old 2005 laptop and i want to try Longhorn on it, but my machine doesn't have a DVD drive anymore, so i wanted to try from USB, but Rufus doesn't recognize the iso and i can't find a solution. Can someone help me? (The Longhorn iso has install.wim if that helps in anyway)

Original 4074's PE has a bad mouse driver so tou'll find yourself navigating setup with the keyboard.

Did you fix the issue, OP? If not, you can try iSeePassword Dr.Boot, which can burn .wim file directly. However, it is a premium app.

No, a program that is designed for the modern wim standards will not work with these older ones.
