Problems with Audio on Windows Longhorn Build 4084

Post by TheBetaFan18329 »

Hi! I installed Windows Longhorn Build 4084 in a Virtual Machine on VMware Workstation 15. I downloaded the audio drivers from the collection book and when I run the setup for the drivers, it crashes after the license agreement. :(

Is there a way to fix this?

Would it be possible to extract the drivers like, with WinRAR or 7-Zip, and then install them through a .INF file via the Device Manager?

wouldn't the ES1371 drivers from Whistler work? I've used such on some Longhorn builds (not 4084 though, I have yet to try them on this build) and they work.

I don't think it is possible because when I try to open the device manager in Windows Longhorn Build 4084, it won't open for me. :(

When I view the event viewer, I don't see any info from the application, security, and system sections of the event viewer
