Yes, that should be possible, since msstyles themes are pretty much PEs with no executable portion.

Some maybe, others probably need modification.
Deviantart user ebhefgy (ebhefgy.deviantart.com) made a ton of these, but he just deactivated his account a day or two ago.

as for DWM, maybe if heavily "adapted" 4039 or 4066 or 5048 onto XP SP2 ?
(or was it SP1 that wasn't kernel bricked ?)
