I need some .wav files.

Post by MasonSparkle »

Does anyone have any .wav files for these certain startup / shutdown sounds?

NT 5.0 Beta 2 shutdown / 2000 Beta 3 startup
2000 Beta 3 shutdown
Millennium startup
Millennium shutdown
Fake Whistler startup
Fake Whistler shutdown
Vista / 7 shutdown
3.1 shutdown (pre-Vista chimes)
95 2nd shutdown (other fanfare, not 3.1 startup)

This is for a college project for next year, so I have plenty of time before 2018 starts. If you can help me then thank you so much.

Here is a pack of startup sounds: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1FEpgl ... G5G4MZpTyH

However, note the following...

The 2000 Beta 3 startup was not used as the NT 5.0 Shutdown. NT 5.0 used the NT 4.0 shutdown.
Millennium betas uses the 98 sounds up to 2470. The sounds you are mentioning are from Windows 2000 Build 2000.
The 95 Plus! shutdown is the 2nd shutdown you're talking about.

Thank you so much BF10. This is so much help to my college project. I'll amend all of my mistakes of startup & shutdown sounds around these last weeks.

You can find them on YouTube, and other internet places.

No, you can't find .wav files on YouTube.
