This is the build that was scene-leaked as "901a". It takes the same Beta Site ID and Password as 81. It has 16-bit MSPAINT (though so does 99), it's the first known build to have the log off ability, and it places the taskbar on the top of the screen by default. Also, COMMAND.COM identifies as 90b in VER.

hahahahahaha I knew this would be found someday. I thought it was fake when I first saw it. In 2014 I posted a screenshot of this build that was found in some computer magazine. Look at the computer icon. Look at the taskbar.

Really odd, Kenoats Beta says on build 81 this: Preliminary Release - January 1994

I think there's a copy of 81 online with a modified bootscreen. The original one says November.

KenOath placed a crack into 81 and changed the bootscreen. At the time, the password of 81 was not available online.

There's two 81's floating around with modified boot screen. One is cracked and has a boot screen with KenOath's name in it. The other one has a plain "January 1994" boot screen, but if you open it in eg. Paint Shop Pro and change the black color to something else, you will see the hidden Windows logo flags and notice that the background under the "January 1994" text is simple black instead of those hidden Windows logos (those logos are the ones that get animated).

It's also worth mentioning there was likely an earlier build that was also scene-leaked. We found several fixes for it, and SCOTCH's NFO for their 90c release mentions it. Potential filenames include CHICBET*.ZIP and chicaprb.arj.

One fix contains a cracked SUWIN.EXE, which is version 89. So perhaps this earlier build was 89 or 90a?

And that build 401 that was found in the NFO of 405? That has got to have been found one day. Unfortunately, I have found no evidence yet of a filename.
But anyways, this is a nice find. Thanks for sharing it.
