Hello.
According to the FTP uploading rules, uploading and being rejected (e.g. because the software already is uploaded) too often gets one permanently banned from the FTP.
But how can the uploader know, whether the software already is uploaded, without having FTP access?
How do I know, whether the software already present on FTP?.

You can ask someone who has FTP Access or check mrpijey's FTP logs.

Check the list that mrpijey prominently features in his sig.
I upload stuff to archive.org from time to time. See here for everything that doesn't fit BA

Mrpijey's Signature with the listings (In bold)

In resume, check the online list for software that IS ALREADY in the server and share something that isn't in the list (Software older than 10 years or Betas) if you want FTP access, if you share something newer than 10 years, it won't give you FTP access (But it will be kept archived in the Offline list to be shared once it's unsupported and has more than 10 years)
