Whistler 2410 Not Installing - Installing Devices Hangs

Stuck on Installing Devices, 27 minutes remaining. Been hanging on that for about 10 minutes or so now.

I've set the BIOS date to 14/12/2000 or something, ACPI is off and am using VMWare 12 PRO on Windows 7 x64 host.

Why this is happening? :/

Re enable ACPI.

Should I do this after saving the machine state or killing the VM's power?

After killing the vm's power. You can't make changes otherwise.

Try to create a VM by lowering the compatibility version of the VM.

That's not necessary in any Whistler builds that I know of.

You should use VPC 2007 for that build. It runs any Whistler build excellently.
You are using Windows 7 x64, so VPC would work perfectly.
