Windows NT 4.0 Build 1141 Setup Error on Virtualbox?

I was interested and tried to install Windows NT 4.0 Build 1141 on Virtualbox... But when i enter on the setup, i get this weird error i never getted! :


I get it after "Specify Additional Devices" screen... I also tried to format hard drive with MS-DOS 6.22 before Setup but it not worked.Can somebody help?

Uh... Nevermind! This os needs a bootable Windows 98 SE Disk for installing and i dont have it (and i dont want to download it because its 300-400 mb) Im gonna install another builds, they are 30-40 mb... But thanks for your help!

I tried 86Box.But its REALLY slow! It stucked at this screen:


(My 86Box machine have Intel Pentium II 333MHz and 256 mb"s of ram)

I think using the Tyan Pro ATX for running this build is overkill, use something older, like the 430 series chipset machines.

EDIT: After you start the setup from DOS and reboot, make sure that you boot to the first boot disk in your download and not the hard disk, otherwise, the setup won't detect the hard disk.

EDIT: After you start the setup from DOS and reboot, make sure that you boot to the first boot disk in your download and not the hard disk, otherwise, the setup won't detect the hard disk.

Try running 8088mph on a Skylake and you'll realize the most powerful is not always the best.

Guys, i cant use VPC now.Because i installed Windows 8.1 last night to my pc and VPC dont work on Windows 8 and later (I was tried to run it on Windows 10 but i get BSOD) And im gonna try what you sayed... @Windows Fan did you set the Video Display Adapter to VGA in 86-Box? If not then it might be set to CGA.
Also it emulates a real PC. I've been using 86-box and PCem to emulate Intel CPUs because my other laptop has an AMD.

The build just is broken. There are no other posibilities. Download another copy from the server or from another abandonware site (I won't name anyone because it's forbidden)

Use PCem for early NT4 protos.
It worked for NT3.51, even gave me 16-bit color and sound!
Problem is you might have to deal with slow CPU speeds. Because unlike VirtualBox, PCem emulates a full computer.
