Windows 95 4.00.347 in italian

Hi,
i'm new here, i have found at a used stuff shop here in Italy an original Windows 95 Beta CD.
it's the 4.00.347, an update disk and on top of it there is the "Versione Preliminare" sentence which mean Preliminary Version.
it's rare? also it's already on the ftp server?

here it is Windows 95

i think that you can install it in english or in italian, if you want to install it in english then you will find the setup.exe in \WIN95\SETUP.EXE
but if you want in italian you need to go in \ITALIAN\WIN95\SETUP.EXE
and you need to change the bios date with one earlyer than 31st dicember 1996

The previous release was a custom made UltraISO ISO containing only the Italian folder and nothing else.

I know it would be slightly dumb to ask but do you still have the custom made UltraISO ISO? I may be able to do a checksum comparison on the installer files of both the custom made ISO and the real one (just because).

If time permits, I will post the results here.

- TuneableSumo876: I think that one was based on the files from the multilanguage ISO.

I already did the checksum comparison, the contents was identical to the Italian folder with the additional readme and setup.exe which was also taken from the same disc but from a different folder. I don't have the custom ISO anymore.

Well, good thing you didn't read the previous post then as it would have not increased your post count by one more...

We already had this build on the FTP. Only difference now is that it's an original dump with a scan. One more original release, one less custom hacked ISO.
