What Vista beta build has different greeting text?
What Vista beta build has different greeting text?
Hello, I see a Vista beta build with the text saying "You're ready to start" rather than "Thank you". Also, that beta build has a smaller, different start orb.

Re: What Vista beta build has different greeting text?
Windows Vista build 5259 introduced the "You're ready to start" text at the end of the OOBE. Windows Vista build 5456 was the last one I know that used that text. From build 5536 onwards it uses the "Thank you" text. The start orb is the same as RTM since build 5259. There was a green start button with white start text in builds 5112 to 5231. Build 5048 has a black-like start button with white text. Don't know which one are you referring to.

Well yeah. Its a unleaked build because when I googled the build number, it had no actual picture of this. I think some people don't use that build that much.

I think it's fake. I'm not refering to builds, just the end of th OOBE!iPhone_6s_Plusxp wrote:Well yeah. Its a unleaked build because when I googled the build number, it had no actual picture of this. I think some people don't use that build that much.

Sure it is fake, just because you were not referring to it... And this is not to be confused with the leaked 5212, which is winmain and lacks the new start orb.MM456 wrote:I think it's fake. Why don't you check The Collection Book? There is a gallery that could assist.
