Is this Windows "Blackcomb" version fake?

At 4:21 there's a Windows "Blackcomb" build. I don't know if it's fake or not, but is similiar to Windows "Longhorn". :OD :beta:

According to an older thread on BA it was meant to be Windows 7, kinda. Paraphrased, Longhorn was suppose to initially be a smaller release and Blackcomb would have been the large release to come after it. However, obviously things changed.

All Blackcomb screens you see on net are fake or concept. No builds were compiled that we know of, but it would've been the "Windows 7" after Vista, equivilent to Longhorn. Then it became Vienna, 7.

It wouldn't have been, not really.

Windows 7 was a minor release after Vista. Blackcomb was to be the next Major release after the Minor release of Longhorn. It was pretty much dead as a notion by the time Longhorn was expanding in scope, and definitely out of the way with the Longhorn reset.

It's far better to look at it as simply a cancelled future milestone, rather than trying to fit it into the actual product timeline.
