Looking around eBay I saw a copy of Windows 2000 but in a silver box and labeled Commemorative. It was still sealed so I picked it up for $30. Was this some sort of special edition given out to Microsoft Employees or something?

Re: Windows 2000 Commemorative?
Are you planning on keeping this as a sealed collectors edition? Or is it possible you can scan it for us (even sealed)? Would be nice to have a high res scan of the box at least.

Re: Windows 2000 Commemorative?
The question seems have been discussed before, so i'll just paste the answer here:
source: https://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/wind ... l.3172259/Microsoft has produced commemorative discs as part of release ceremonies --I have not heard of any instance where they were actually "editions" for
sale. The disc contents are presumably the same as the ones that are shipped
to retail.

I have a non-sealed version of this that I bought off of a former employee. Would BA be interested in having this?
