Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

So, three more MS-DOS 6.00 Builds have been found:

1. MS-DOS 6.00.Ceb German (1993-02-25)
Link: http://tinyurl.com/msdos6-cebit-de .
It literally identifies MS-DOS 6.00.Ceb and that's because it is a build Microsoft compiled specifically for the CEBIT which is (or at least was, not sure if it's still being held) a yearly IT event taking place in Germany. Despite its date, it is beta-level rather than RC, since COMMAND.COM contains the expiration message, and the bootsector is MSDOS6.0, rather than the MSDOS5.0 used from RC onwards. Also, Disk 6 is the Microsoft Workgroup Add-On for MS-DOS, German.

2. MS-DOS 6.00 RC English (1993-02-27)
Link: http://tinyurl.com/msdos6-rc19930227-en .
The latest RC we had until now was the one dated 1993-02-12. This is 15 days later. Disk 4 is the supplemental disk.

3. MS-DOS 6.00.0790 RC English (1993-03-09)
Link: http://tinyurl.com/msdos6-rc19930309-en .
Its original NFO said this is the last RC Microsoft released. Nevertheless, this still differs from the RTM. Also at least the NFO identified this (and therefore the final build number of MS-DOS 6.00) as 0790, presumably based on information by Microsoft.

Enjoy!

Edit: Replaced links with TinyURL links, since the full links are evidently too long for phpBB3's parser.

Fantastic. The only thing left know is 6.00.0108, which I've seen mentioned a few times in warez disc/BBS lists. That will be found someday...
