As far as I know, these links are only good for a single use. I'm working on mirroring ;)
Done!

Huh. I did not know that they had released this yet. This will be nice for people with a Pi 2 (Not me, however). Thanks!

Anyone know how to get the signed *.ffu image on an SD card to boot from? Is there any tool to do that? Or can/should I just extract the image from it (it seems to start at offset 0xa0000) and dd that to the SD?
I upload stuff to archive.org from time to time. See here for everything that doesn't fit BA

Thanks, that was informative. No IoT for me then (at least for now) since I'm still on Windows 7. I might try the manual extraction route though, let's see if that works out...

You could use this tool (convert FFU to WIM) or this tool (mount FFU, drops vhd in %temp%)

Finally they release this. Time for me to pick up a Pi 2.

FFU image is sector based. So when you apply it to the microSD it will be written to the correct sector to boot correctly. I don't think it will work if you convert it to a WIM image.

I wonder if someone can actually hack the MinnowBoard MAX version to boot in a VM (since it's x64 platform). The Raspberry Pi 2 is ARM based so it will never work in a VM. Nvm, MinnowBoard version it's doable.

You mind uploading to Mega or something else? Dropbox has disabled the public links due to traffic.

Feel free to re-upload. You could of course just sign up for Microsoft Connect ;) (connect.microsoft.com)
EDIT: Uploaded to MEGA. Enjoy!

Boot sector doesn't matter because it's UEFI. The reason it uses FFU is because its split across multiple partitions and the different partitions mount in different places on the root partition. You could do it with a WIM, but it'd be more work.

I copied it on a 8gig SD card and made a dd image... Maybe someone may be interested in this:

Seemed M$ encrypted the actual partition of the image.
(update) In fact those are not encrypted. But you must let Windows mount the SD card as a hard drive to recognize all volumes.

Now we have to find out how to get local Win32 programs run.
However it seems that Pi hackers and Windows hackers are not allies at least for now..

So, how is this build different from regular X86/AMD64 Windows 10, other than the fact that it is a port for ARM devices?
