How can I install Windows 1.0 Alpha In PCem?

* Insert the diskette number 1 MS-DOS 2.11
* Ran FDISK
* Select one and then esc
* Format c:
* Yes and formats
* Comes to booting
* Put SYS C:
* Type copy A: \ *.* C: \
* Insert the second diskette
* The same step COPY A: \ *.* C: \
* Comes to booting
* Insert the first floppy of windows 1.0 alpha and the same steps to copy
* Make a new folder with Windows MD
* The same steps of COPY (COPY A: \ *.* C: \ Windows)
* Insert the second and COPY
* Insert the 3 and COPY
* Insert 4 AND COPY
* Comes to booting
* Writing C: \ Windows
* Then INSTALL

Just a quick question, are you using PCem v8.1?

You can use PCE/ibmpc as well.

and using hercules display(run "drivers hercules" in windows\test folder (for DR5), and config PCE to use hgc as well) to have better looking:

Just to note, the last time I tryed Win1.0 DR5 I ran it in PCem v0.41b, didn't go so well.
Now that I have v0.5, in which the mouse works, I can try this, I have the floppies.
