Windows NT 5.0 Blue Screen of Death
When I try to install Windows Cairo NT 5.0 Build 1743 in Virtualbox, i get a BSOD. When I set the type to Windows NT 4, it freezes at a blank blue screen, and then the VM crashes. The Blue screen appears after the CD drivers are loaded. Here's the BSOD:

step 1: sell CDs of your work
step 2: wait for someone to copy the disc and offer iso's.

I found it works if I install Windows NT 4, then upgrade to NT 5. I think that is the only way for betas to work in virtual box. Also, if you get a stop message, restarting the vm should fix it.

That didn't work either. I either get an ntoskrnl.exe error or another BSOD.TheIronChicken wrote:I found it works if I install Windows NT 4, then upgrade to NT 5. I think that is the only way for betas to work in virtual box. Also, if you get a stop message, restarting the vm should fix it.
As a final conclusion, if you don't know anything to help me fix this issue, then this build of NT is incompatible with VBox.

Build 1877 worked this way, but I couldn't get Guest Additions to work.

this build is very tricky to install, use Qemu for it.
