I think build 9483 is pre-RTM build which is not published before RTM.

So, we have a build 9600 RTM. I received next information from MDL forums: Microsoft will release today other Windows 8.1 RTM editions x64 in Chinese.

Seems like this one doesn't have timebomb is so near to final one. I'll post some pictures later

EDIT: Here is one...Not to much to see here, it's an interesting build anyway since you can activate it as it was RTM but still using pre-release software. No timebomb here.

As far as i know this build is only a few builds behind the final RTM, so it can be consider an RTM build, however the activation server wont work on this one. (unless you turn it in to GVLK)

I don't think any key works. The easiest way to install it is probably inject an ei.cfg, with something like

I installed it by extracting the WIM to a partition using DISM, then make it bootable, and add a boot option to boot to it, then it boots into OOBE here you can ignore the part of introducing a key, but yes you need RTM keys to activate it.

Isn't it a bit inappropriate for BA FTP hence it is pretty much RTM without build number fork and wallpaper eyecandy? It has no timebomb and uses RTM licensing

I believe 6000.16385 was accepted, even though 6000.16386 was the RTM back with Vista.

Same with 7, even though 7600.16385 is the RTM, 7600.16384 is on the FTP.
