Can't access the FTP server

I tried to access the FTP server days ago, but i got this message.

Error:	Could not connect to server

Does anybody know how I can fix this?

Yes but it still gave me that message!

I want to know if there's a way I can fix this!

You already posted about this in the server topic... Anyway, the problem is definitly on your end, either at the router, firewall or your ISP.

Have you tried to bypass the router and disable any firewalls you may be using?

As Andy has explained multiple times in the server topic, the fault is on your end, disable your firewall, open up ports on your router and such, but you never given any feedback to us on what you tried, you just say you can't connect and help.

No need to create a new topic or post about it every day

I tried disabling my firewall, and of course open up my ports, but none of those really worked.

Then the only thing left is you ISP. Try contacting them about the issue and find out more.

I haven't talked to you about this yet, it could be the malicious software that is causing it.

Easy to check - try to connect to some other FTP, e.g. Microsoft's FTP. Though I highly doubt a virus would bother to deny your access to BA FTP...

Maybe we should have ONE "Help me, I can't access the FTP"-topic where every new FTP user can get help to solve his problem, that way we don't get a topic like this every week!

Then maybe it should be linked on the FTP page, so user who don't bother to use the search function still find that topic in stead of creating a new one.

Clearly this problem fails under the last part, which states that you must post this in the Official FTP Server Topic, which he has done also, but here made a duplicate topic of the same problem (and has had a topic before, but that was deleted or moved to the FTP Server Topic).
