Odd. Years ago I was able to download something from 4shared without making a account.

Here is the preview of Windows 3.1 20th Anniversary Setup. However it's not complete yet, the only missing is supplemental kits (MS-DOS 6.22). What do you think?

Image
Boot CD menu

Image
After pressing 1 key, it will boot MS-DOS and show this menu

Image
DOS-LOGO.SYS Boot screen, however it's not animated, how to make animated rle?

Image
Based of the MS-DOS 7.10 setup batch, however I have changed slightly.

Image
Same like MS-DOS 7.10 setup.

Image
After set up partitioning, this is the message where to copy Windows GUI Setup

Image
GUI portion of Setup, using Inno Setup 1.2 and Mini Windows thanks to ideeman1994 about this idea!

Image
Installing Windows 3.1 20th Anniversary

Image
After GUI portion, you have prompted with supplemental kit installation. However, I need to fix "Invalid directory or directory not empty".

Image
MS-DOS 6.22 Supplemental Kit installation, however at the time I have to fix that supplemental kit will not installed

Image
Installation finished

Image
On the DOS, just add Vide-CDD and custom messages, but I have to fix some errors

Image
Starting Windows, however it freezes here and...

Image
Unsupported data configuration! I don't like this. This is not affected in original VHD

Well I need to make defaults for Windows 3.1 20th Anniversary installation:

1. The graphics is now VGA for use of all virtualization software and this will enable Windows 95 icon style. Virtual PC users can enable S3 Trio driver via setup.
2. Fix MSCD001 error
3. Fix other errors about "Unsupported data configuration"

Why I need to have hardware virtualization? Is anything special inside the VHD?

I tried executing Netscape Communicator 4.08 inside Windows For Workgroups 3.11 and Windows NT 3.1 and, without hardware virtualization turned on, it throws that general error, while being turned on, it does not happen.

It happens to me in both ways...

Because if you try to start Netscape Communicator without hardware vizualization, you get a general error.

Netscape works for me in a Win3.1 VM with 4MB RAM and Hardware Virtualisation off (processor doesn't support it).
It might be something else.

Don't mean to bump, but I felt like making box art for this, so I am currently.
I'll post it when it's done
