Cool The only other ones that I can think of that you need to add the Chicago 3-button one (if that counts?), the Classic theme one from the early Longhorn builds (the logo was all white), and the Classic theme one from Vista RTM/Longhorn Server.

I'm pretty sure that was only the Classic button in some of the beta builds - Vista 6000 and LHS 6001 have the coloured Windows logo, except it is the new one that is lighter towards the centre, as opposed to the one on XP's Classic-themed start button.

Edit: actually I think it might be the one for Vista, but I'm sure LHS has the coloured one.

Edit 2: No, actually someone needs to check, the screenshot I found that has the white flag was of Beta 2.

@Namronia
Wait a minute. The screenshot you posted is not from one of the NT4 betas, it is the final build of NT4, which is clearly visible due to it showing the build number, it's just the checked/debug version, this one shows the "Unicode Debug" string.
I've had a look at your website, quite nice, but you should get some (minor) facts right.

Nevertheless, the "Unicode Debug" one is a valid Windows start button. Is there only interest in the buttons of English versions or would you be interested in buttons from other language versions as well?

There's a difference between the blue luna theme's start button and the green and silvers start button. (XP RTM)

Here's that one:

I think the Olive Green one is actually a very slightly different colour:

Also, this is the Vista RTM/Longhorn Server Beta 3 Classic-themed one:

I assume you're not going to try to do all the Windows CE/Windows Mobile ones as well, as there's quite a few different ones there too?

When you select classic style in LH4053, it is the same Start button as in normal Slate:

Yeah, it's because of Sidebar. If you turn Sidebar off you will see classic button AFAIK...

The screenshot you posted is not from an NT4 beta. Build 1381 is the final build, no matter if checked or not, believe me I've got the checked build of NT4 on an MSDN disc, it's Build 1381 and nowhere is it labelled as beta. Furthermore, you can install the checked service packs on it, which is not possible on a beta.

What gives you the impression this has to be a beta, just out of interest?

cause it was on the server

i saw...:

my final of nt 4 (real final!) has the build: 4.0.1375.1
