It does with a 3rd party driver like this one from oldos.org http://files.oldos.org/files/updates/winntusb.exe

Just downloaded an USB "Fix" from Dell, let's hope it make it work.. I wanted to put it on my "Desktop 2" PC (see signature) to add it to the Workgroup and copy some data

You have to use Dell's drivers
Re: Does Windows NT 4.0 Workstation SP6a Support USB?
The Dell drivers work fine on NT4. You might need the FAT32 Driver if your using a flash drive though.

Ok, thanks for your help
Re: Does Windows NT 4.0 Workstation SP6a Support USB?
Where do you find the FAT32 Driver?
Core 2 Quad Q8400, 8Gb DDR3, ATI HD4850, 1Tb Seagate, Windows 7 Ultimate X64

I think you can get USB driver for NT with Windows Update
Am I right?
I could do that with 95
...or simply Intel Driver

Microsoft never released an NT4 USB Update on Windows Update
Re: Does Windows NT 4.0 Workstation SP6a Support USB?
afaik, Windows NT 4.0 never had USB support. Only Windows 95b had an USB patch on the CD.

You will need the ion update
Re: Does Windows NT 4.0 Workstation SP6a Support USB?
I actually downloaded something that makes USB work on NT 4.0 http://files.oldos.org/files/updates/winntusb.exe never tested it though but it was provided by Dell. Try it.

There are also thinkpad files that add usb support to windows nt4.
I have tried the dell files, but not the ibm ones. I have a free thinkpad now for this kind of experiment.
