Session Summary
Last year, Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) delivered several WebCasts on how the Exchange 2000 Server transport and routing engines work, and how to troubleshoot problems that may arise. With nearly a year and a half of experience with these support calls, we'd like to revisit the subject and discuss some of the most common issues customers encounter. In this WebCast, we will discuss common mail flow problems, and we will highlight solutions for troubleshooting and solving those problems. We will also review some of our best tricks for troubleshooting mail flow problems. Finally, we will highlight some of our recommended best practices for configuring your mail systems for optimum mail flow reliability.
This is a Level 200 session that was recorded February 21, 2002 and presented by Tom Jones. Tom Jones is a technical lead in the Microsoft Enterprise Messaging Support group at PSS. He has nearly a decade of experience working with several e-mail systems and supporting customers of all kinds. His expertise is in SMTP, X.400, and e-mail system connectivity. In March 2002, Tom will celebrate five years with Microsoft.
