SYMPTOMS
The instructions on the label of Supplemental Disk 1 read, in part:
Please read the Readme.txt file on Supplemental Disk 1 for installation instructions.
However, there is no Readme.txt file on Supplemental Disk 1.
RESOLUTION
To install Supplemental Disk 1, please follow these steps:
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- Click the Windows Setup tab.
- Click the Have Disk button.
- Click or type the appropriate disk drive, then click OK.
- Select the components you want to install.

Supplemental Disk 1 contains the following tools that are not installed when you set up Windows 95 from floppy disks:
- CD Player
- Character Map
- Net Watcher
- System Monitor
- Quick View
- Mouse pointers
