Well, sorry if this sound silly but is RTM version 4734 or 4760, 'cause I've been running 4734 for a while(I use 2013 now), and I remember I was never able to install SP2 to it. If RTM is 4760, that means I used a pre-RTM for a year without even knowing...

RTM is actually build 4760 – you've been using a pre-release version! That's why you've never been able to apply SP2 to your Office copy!

Umm yes, you're right.. apparently many people have the same RC version, for some reason..I got it from a torrent, that's a reason to be careful what you're downloading
