Windows protection error

I have windows 95c but I get protection error. I tried LoneCrusader's patch
but doesn't fix. Any help?

You should run the fix immediately after the installation asks you to reboot, so before the system boots for the first time. If you follow the instructions provided with the fix correctly, it should work just fine. But as said, any additional details would be appreciated.

I did but still gave the error later.
EDIT 1 I think I did it on second or first reboot

He's not using VPC 2007, he's using Fusion on a Mac. I don't know if it can be disabled in Fusion.

I can disable hardware acceleration, I will try it.

Probably try using a different virtual machine emulator software.

I use VMware version=9 compatibility. Windows 98 (Not SE) supports 1GB of ram, and 95 (Not OSR1) doesn't seem to tolerate anything above 256MB. I do not use any patches in the process and use VMware Workstation 12.5.

Or use 86Box, which runs Windows 95 without any patches.
