Virtualbox 5 - Cannot disable time sync

When I run the usual commands to disable time sync (for any VM) in Virtualbox 5.0.0:

VBoxManage setextradata "VM name" "VBoxInternal/Devices/VMMDev/0/Config/GetHostTimeDisabled" 1
VBoxManage modifyvm "VM name" --biossystemtimeoffset -*

They do not work. Instead, the time is synced with every bootup to the current time. This makes it impossible for me to install any betas. Oddly enough, they worked on 4.3.28, 5.0.0 RC1 and 5.0.0 RC2. Can anyone help me with this?
