Windows 10 RTM Escrow: 10.0.10176.16384.th1.150705-0552

Yesterday Windows 10 jumped to 10176 (10 builds from previous, 10166) and on the same day compiled "10176.16384" with the th1 build lab. The revision of the build is also bumped to .16384 for RTM Candidate/RTM builds.

Wow, Microsoft got done with Windows 10 pretty fast compared to other Windows versions! I hope the RTM will keep its promises and won't be full of bugs because of their speed. However, I'm still quite excited to test it out! :p

I've gotta say, from running 10166... I'm not all that hopeful. It seemed really unpolished, and a lot of the customization options that were easy to find in the old control panel (which is still available, in a roundabout way) are in very unintuitive locations in the new one. And don't even get me started on the god-awful UI design, it's not cohesive anywhere, and just generally looks like a 10-year-old could have done better.

Just like any other new OS. It's an upgraded version of the previous one. Win10 introduces dramatic changes, mainly under the hood. Would be nice if you could quit the idiotic bashing of post-Win7 OSes you do everywhere you can.

I hope that a new WSE connector is released before July 29. I assume there will be, given that small businesses use it and many home users use it, and both are eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 10.

Windows 7 did out last Windows Vista has Microsoft primary Operation System and they more people using Windows 7 then Windows 8.1, Vista and XP. Windows 10 upgrade is for user Windows 7 and 8.1 to migrate Windows 10 because Microsoft want million of people to used Windows 10.

I don't think it is ready yet, I think it needs more time to polish it up, and fix stupid, bizarre, unnecessary bugs. I had "Service Host: Local System" take up incredible amounts of memory, so I restricted it to 2 processors, which fixed slow downs caused by it, but then caused occasional Explorer errors.

I'm curios what RTM lab will be given to insiders: fbl_impresive or winmain?

Also I want to know if the post-RTM insider builds will keep fbl_impresive lab or get a brand new one?

Why don't you go and tell Microsoft then to hold it? Since I bet they would like to have your input as you know more about release schedules, sales projections, development progress and OEM partner schedules than they do...
