Uploading Advice

Post by CoreServicesX »

I am trying to finish my first upload to BA, but I cannot seem to finish it. I am using FileZilla on Windows 8.1. About a minute into the transfer process, I get a "421 Connection Timed Out" message, followed by a GnuTLS error and then a "connection aborted" message. While the upload in progress seems to be continuing intact, I believe that it has actually been truncated on mrpijey's end. (Unfortunately, I do not have permissions to re-download the file I just uploaded to test this theory.) What's more, when my laptop goes to sleep, the transfer process is interrupted. While FileZilla tries to resume, the server reports a permission error regarding a "STOR command", and the transfer is aborted; I must restart from the beginning. As this happened after about 10 minutes of throughput, I am very annoyed at having to start over. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can upload successfully? Thanks!

GnuTLS errors usually happen when there is an issue with your broadband connection. A route between you and the server may be unstable so you might have to wait until tomorrow before retrying. This isn't something we can do anything about unfortunately.

You should be able to resume your upload if it is interrupted (but not delete it or rename it), but if you can't, please paste your FTP log here so I can see what is happening.

I've made a modification to the permissions. Let me know if you can resume now.
